San Diego Humane Society is hiring a Full-Time Foster Supervisor for our Oceanside and Escondido Foster team!

What you’ll do:
In this role, you will oversee daily Foster program operations, supervise Foster Specialist staff, and provide hands-on animal care as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality animal care and clean, organized facilities; managing staff hiring, coaching, performance, and scheduling; supporting foster relationships to maximize lifesaving outcomes; monitoring animal health and participating in care decisions, including humane euthanasia recommendations; and training staff & volunteers.
Location & Hours: Based at our Oceanside Campus with expected travel to the Escondido Campus. This position works 40 hours per week.
Pay: Starting range is between $26.60 – $29.61 per hour.
The listed hiring range for this position depicts the target range of pay rates for candidates. The actual starting pay rate is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to your years of related education and experience, internal pay equity, and position location.

Requirements
What we’re looking for:
Qualified candidates will have an associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) and three years of progressively responsible animal care experience; supervisory experience and kitten care expertise are preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain a Vet Assistant Controlled Substances Permit after hire and have a valid driver’s license.
