Description
Blessing Baskets serves the western half of Canadian County by providing programs that enhance quality of life within the community. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will oversee daily operations, program development, fundraising, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, staff and volunteer management, and community engagement, along with strong communication, organizational, and public relations skills and a passion for serving others.
Objectives
- Provide leadership and oversight for daily operations, programs, fundraising, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to support the mission, improve efficiencies, and achieve organizational goals.
- Build positive relationships with staff, volunteers, clients, donors, and community partners.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining quality services and financial accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations, staff, volunteers, and programs.
- Develop and implement fundraising plans and assist with fundraising events and donor relations.
- Promote community awareness through marketing, social media, partnerships, and public events.
- Oversee budgets, program expenditures, inventory, reporting, and operational records.
- Maintain accurate client and organizational data, including reporting systems and donor records.
- Foster a professional, positive, and mission-focused culture.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
- Maintain office operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of nonprofit management experience.
- Experience in fundraising, marketing, public relations, and community engagement.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, databases, and reporting systems.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proven ability to collaborate with a board of directors and lead teams effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in business, finance, human resources, or related field.
- Experience managing budgets and nonprofit operations.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Successful background check required.

Salary Range is $45,000 - $50,000 annual salary dependent on experience; Typical work day will be 8 hours per day, 4/days per week (32-35 hours per week); some evenings and weekends may be required depending on events and distribution schedule.
