Description
The Human Resources function at JPMorgan Chase is shifting to a product-focused way of working. This role will serve as an area product lead within the Firmwide Employee Onboarding Product. Specifically, this role will be responsible for Acclimation, helping the new hire get oriented to the firm, build important connections and have positive early experiences. As a Product Manager, you will drive connectivity across user experience, technology and the business while blending deep customer empathy and market trends with influence, passion and analytical thinking.A successful Product Manager will think holistically and go beyond technology solutions to drive people and process changes across organizational boundaries. This role requires flexibility to lead disruptive change, promote experimentation, allow for smart failure, empower employees to work both autonomously and collaboratively, and rally people/teams from various parts of our business together to solve for common customer challenges.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day work involved with product development to ensure product success while staying focused on critical scope
- Define area product strategy and communicate it to the team
- Define and develop the appropriate metrics to measure success, assess performance and evaluate product effectiveness
- Manage the end-to-end area product performance, including financial, risk, operations and business performance
- Deliver against prioritized area product roadmap, leading the ongoing design and improvement of a cohesive set of experiences, processes and services that provide value to customers
- Understand discovery techniques, agile delivery and related methodologies to ensure successful outcomes
- Analyze customer feedback and customer research to create compelling product/experience proposals
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- 7-10 years of experience as a product owner
- Customer-centric
- Ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer needs into clear technical requirements
- Strong leader who can inspire action and performance their team and builds credibility across the enterprise
- Ability to translate disparate insights and data sources into clear, measurable, scalable features and deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment.
- Minimum BA/BS degree required or relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Product Owner with experience managing firmwide initiatives
