Description
The Perth Amboy Housing Authority in New Jersey is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as the Executive Director. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the Housing Authority’s operations. The Authority administers a Housing Choice Voucher Program of approximately 700 HCV units, 220 Tenant Protection Vouchers, 100 Project-Based units located Asbury Park, NJ and Perth Amboy, NJ, approximately 30 Homeownership Vouchers, 420 RAD units converted form its public housing stock, approximately 50 Outgoing Portable Vouchers, and approximately 150 Incoming Portable Vouchers, and employs approximately 20 full-time staff members. The Housing Authority also works closely with its Not-For-Profit affiliate (PARTNER) to manage 360 RAD units converted from public housing.
Candidates must have a minimum of a 4-year college degree from an accredited college or university, as well as 5 years of related experience (a Master’s degree may be substituted for 2 years’ experience).
