About the Role

WBNG-TV, the CBS affiliate in Binghamton, NY, has an immediate opening for a bright, motivated on-air host/producer to take the lead for a local community and client-focused show called Around the Tiers. Make an even deeper connection with viewers through additional hosting opportunities, including segments and extended programming on our live streaming platforms.

The on-air host/producer will schedule a wide variety of guests to be interviewed both live and recorded, in-studio and on location. This individual will produce content for on-air, online, mobile platforms, and live streams.

$18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Requirements

- We are looking for an energetic individual who greets each day with a smile and has a collaborative team attitude.

- Successful candidates will have the ability to capture the audience's attention while on-air, guide narratives, and ensure seamless transitions between segments.

- Must have strong writing and producing skills, and the ability to create and deliver content under deadline pressure.

Experience

- Experience with non-linear editing and the ability to shoot video are pluses.
