Position Overview: We are seeking an Executive Director to serve as the senior administrative leader of the practice. This candidate will be responsible for the strategic, financial, and operational oversight of the organization. This role partners closely with physician leadership to ensure the delivery of outstanding patient care, operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and a positive organizational culture.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with physician partners to set organizational strategies, define priorities, and support governance.
Lead the execution of strategic initiatives, including service expansion, technology investments, and organizational development.
Under direct supervision of the board and managing principal, lead strategic planning for physician recruitment, succession planning, and practice growth.
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, and cash flow management.
Monitor key performance indicators, provider productivity, and practice benchmarks to optimize financial performance.
Work closely with our legal and accounting advisers.
Lead payer strategy, including commercial contract negotiations, Medicare analysis, reimbursement modeling, and network participation decisions.
Evaluate and recommend capital investments, equipment acquisition, vendor contracts, and cost-saving initiatives to the physician board.
Direct the revenue cycle, ensuring strong billing practices, denial management, and compliance with payer requirements.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, patients experience, and staff efficiency.
Provide oversight for all HR functions, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, compensation and compliance.
Develop a high-performing leadership structure with clear accountability and professional development pathways.
Oversee patient satisfaction initiatives, service recovery processes, and patient communication strategies.
Partner with physicians and clinical leaders to support quality improvement, clinical compliance, and risk management programs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and state regulatory requirements.
Lead data-driven decision making through dashboards, analytics, and reporting tools.
Manage IT infrastructure, cybersecurity awareness, and technology partnerships.
Build and sustain relationships with referring providers, hospitals, and community partners.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of executive leadership experience in the healthcare sector.
Proven track record of strategic planning and successful implementation.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance management.
Understanding of internal and external marketing of a large practice.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (MBA, MHA, etc.) preferred.
