As an Executive Director - FX Systematic Trading Strategies in the FX Trading team, you will lead the development and execution of systematic trading strategies. You will collaborate with colleagues to optimise performance and manage risk, while contributing to the team's culture of innovation and excellence. You will have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and play a key role in shaping the direction of FX trading. Your insights and leadership will help us deliver value to clients and the wider market.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of FX systematic trading strategies
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and technologists to enhance trading models
- Monitor and analyse market trends to identify new opportunities
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Optimise trading performance through data-driven decision making
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Drive innovation by integrating new technologies and methodologies

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Extensive experience in FX trading and systematic strategy development
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
- Deep understanding of financial markets and trading infrastructure
- Proven track record of managing risk in a trading environment
- Ability to lead and collaborate within a diverse team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with data analysis and statistical modelling
- Commitment to ethical and compliant trading practices
- Ability to drive innovation and adapt to changing market conditions
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with machine learning techniques applied to trading
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD or equivalent) in a quantitative field
- Familiarity with FX market microstructure
- Experience in mentoring and developing talent
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to FX trading
- Track record of delivering business growth through innovative strategies
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
