Description
The Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association (DLGA) is hiring a Campaign Services Director for the 2026 election cycle. This role will serve as the primary hard-side point of contact for Democratic Lt. Governor campaigns, manage political strategy in DLGA priority states, build relationships with key stakeholders, and provide direct support to our Lt. Governors and Executive Director.
The Campaign Services Director will report to the Executive Director and work closely with various departments throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Act as the primary hard-side point of contact for Democratic Lt. Governor campaigns; building strong relationships to become their first call for advice and support, and helping candidates and campaign managers develop winning strategies in finance, communications, and operations
- Partner with the Executive Director to develop DLGA’s overall political and engagement strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with political and coalition leaders nationwide and in DLGA priority states
- Serve as the lead member of the political team, contributing to the organization’s strategic planning and execution
- Support the Executive Director in managing relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have 6–8 years of relevant work experience. Committee and/or campaign experience—especially in a finance—in a previous position is strongly preferred
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong time management, verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team and maintain consistent communication with your teammates
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace
- Proficient in Google Drive suite and finance CRMs such as NGP
This is a cycle position with a target start date of January 15, 2026, and an end date of December 31, 2026. The start date is negotiable. The salary band is $100,000–$120,000 annually, and the final salary will be determined based on experience. Benefits include 100% employer-paid platinum-level health care for employees, spouses/partners, and dependents, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
This position is based in Washington, DC. The DLGA follows a hybrid schedule, with two days each week in our downtown DC office and three days working remotely.
