Kintura, a not-for-profit organization is seeking an Associate executive Director for Friends Homes - our managed active continuing care retirement community located in Greensboro, N.C. The Role
The Associate Executive Director position assists the Executive Director in providing leadership to the organization and oversees the operations of independent living to ensure outstanding service for our residents, an exceptional work environment for team members, and excellent fiscal stewardship of the budget.
The Associate Executive Director assists in steering and creating a motivating environment for team members and is responsible directly to the Executive Director and the Vice President of Operations. Functions include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out the organizational mission, goals, and objectives with passion and integrity.
- Driving, developing, and implementing person centered care.
- Implementing policies, procedures, and assuring adherence to regulations.
- Working with Department Directors to prepare and efficiently manage the approved budget.
- Inspecting the community to ensure that the building meets safety and health regulations.
- Assisting the Executive Director with managing employees and completing evaluations of Department Directors.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate managerial field, or experience equivalent.
- Minimum five years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in NC a plus, appropriate work experience in the health care field.
- Passion and innovation for ageing services with the ability to keep abreast of changes in the aging field.
- Creativity, organization, and the drive to successfully lead, direct, and manage a diverse team, developing trust.
